Ajent-o has been a significant presence on the Buffalo hip-hop scene, since I Can remember buffalo actually having a hip-hop scene. He started Mcing in 1996 with intentions on being more than a novice and quickly became an intrical factor in creating one of the most over looked underground hip hop scenes in the country. His style as an MC came to fruition during the late golden age of hip hop and his sound is heavily influenced by this time period but yet somehow is not bound to it. Armed with an appreciation of musical styles ranging from jazz to metal from blues to jungle and a stand out vocal presence , Ajent has graced multiple releases starting from 1999 with the locally acclaimed adamantium project which was nominated for a buffalo music award by night life magazine (all included in discography). Up until his present day work beginning on a yet to be named release that Will include appearances by Lazlo holyfeld , Keith concept, 3rd son, Eric crittiden (of the waz), Gabrielle Carlo, Tone @las, members of the buffalo Colored musicians club, headnodic (of crown city rockers) and good friend Illeo di pallo ..

Ms. Mecca is a talented lyricist with the ability to perform over any musical genre. Although she describes her self as a chameleon this does not dispute her originality through her style and lyrics. Speaking from real experience, emotions erupt from her every word enticing the listener to understand her pain, joy and essence of life. Her passionate fiery lyrics yet soulful and smooth, over intricate production, make clear that every track is laced with Wise wisdom from life’s trials.
Like her music her stage show confirms that she is destined to be one of the greatest emcees. With vivacious fire and a swift vicious tongue, her lyrics and delivery landed her a finalist spot in Buffalo’s “Battle of the 64 MC’s.” She also grasped a national spot in MTV’s promotional advertisement of the “MC Battle.”
At the tender age of six she began listening to music, allowing the rhythm of the African Jembe Drum to guide her passion of music. Ms. Mecca is a natural born performer and an Honor Society graduate of the Buffalo Academy of Visual and Performing Arts. She was inspired by Lauryn Hill, Sade, and Jill Scott and combines her interest in photography, Hip Hop, African choreography, graphic and fashion design and poetry to encourage growth in her wisdom. She dedicates her song Summer fly, with insight to the dating game to Supri’m Wisdom Qur’an Allah, her son, her ultimate inspiration. She performs at many café’s, night spots, clubs, high schools, colleges and community functions. She is currently working on the completion of her debut album entitled “Supreme Mathematics”.
